Because this look is so simple you can style on dry hair and take the look from desk to dance floor at the office do. Or alternatively, you can wash and style your hair in minutes. No need to spend time blow-drying the hair to perfection. That’s why this elegant look is simple with a capital S, not to mention super-stylish.
Easy Party Hairstyle for Long Hair: The Low Pony
Turn heads with this classic party hairstyle. This look is high-shine and sleek.
First up, there’s some prep to do ahead of the party season. We recommend treating your hair to a deep conditioner hair mask once a week all year round. That’s because hair masks are a great way of maintaining the condition of your hair. However, if you are new to hair treatment masks, this is the perfect time to get acquainted with them.
So in the run-up to the party season, say sometime around the beginning of November you can take some positive action to get your hair in great shape. This can be done by simply treating your hair once a week with Restore and Shine Hair Masque.

Easy Party Hairstyle for Long Hair: Get the Look
Step 1
Start by shampooing, conditioning, rinsing and towelling out excess water from the hair. Hair should be damp but not dripping wet. Styling Mist for Natural Hold and a Glossy Finish is perfect for this look! Spritz directly above the head, letting the light mist fall on to the crown and then spray directly on to the ends of the hair. Two to three pumps should be plenty. You can comb through the hair with a wide-tooth comb.
As we mentioned previously you can achieve this look on dry hair. So if you are heading to a party straight after the office, we recommend shampooing and conditioning your hair in the morning so that it’s freshly washed and clean. That’s because clean hair looks shinier.
Step 2
Use a hairdryer on a cool setting to rough dry the hair. Two things are important here. Firstly, you don’t want to create too much volume at the crown so keep the hair as flat to the head as possible as your dry. You can use your fingers to dry the hair but just avoid creating too much movement. Secondly, hair should not be too dry. When you over-dry hair it loses its elasticity which makes it difficult to style. A quick blast on a cool setting should be plenty.
Step 3
Use a comb to create a deep parting. You can choose to part the hair at the side or middle; the main thing is that the look should be flat at the crown. Comb the hair and gently bring back into a low pony at the nape of your neck and secure with a band.
Step 4
Once the hair is dry take a strand of hair and wrap around to hide the band. Secure a pin to fix the hair in place
