The sun is damaging for hair so I recommend focusing your holiday hair care routine around 3 simple rules.

1. Pins Clips and Hair Bands
Pins, clips and bands are handy for plaiting, ponies, up-dos and topknots to add fun to your look. From poolside glamour to sunset chic these easy-to-pack accessories will save you from the drying effects of the daily blow-dry.
2. Velcro Rollers
Velcro rollers – pack 3 or 4 of them and for quick and easy styling.
3. Pack the Right Brush
Pack a Mason Pearson brush for back-brushing hair, especially when wearing it up. Use a vent brush for shorter styles to create body and volume by pushing the roots up with the vent brush.
4. A Hat
A hat is not only a style essential for long summer days, but it will also protect your hair from sun damage. Wear your hat to avoid the sun’s rays, particularly between midday and 3 pm.
